Our Achievements
1. E-Passport launched at Regional Passport Office, Sherpur on 14th October, 2020 AD.
2. Separate counters have been set up for enrollment of e-passport for disabled, sick and elderly applicants.
3. Separate counters (Hajjab Budh) have been arranged to provide special services to Hajj pilgrims at the earliest.
4. Introduction of "Information Search and Help Desk" for applicants. Complaint/suggestion box has been set up.
5. Notice board is made and passport information is displayed on the notice board.
6. Waiting room is arranged for seating of passport applicants.
7. “Citizens Charter” placed in visible place.
8. Sofas are provided for seating of incoming applicants. Televisions are also provided for entertainment while waiting.
9. Wheelchairs are arranged for the sick.
10. Safe drinking water is provided and necessary sterile toilets are provided.
11.During the last 03 years (from 01/07/2019 AD to 30/06/2022 AD) 12,997 (twelve thousand nine hundred and ninety seven) MRP applications have been submitted and 12140 (twelve thousand one hundred and forty) MRPs have been delivered, and 5,773 (five thousand seven hundred and seventy three) e-passport applications have been submitted and 4294 (four thousand two hundred and ninety four) e-passports have been delivered from Regional Passport Office, Sherpur.
